AAEA- The Agricultural Communicators Network is working on a new website and domain name. It’s all part of the strategic plan the association adopted in 2016. AAEA started the rebranding process two months ago with logo development, and now, a new web design has a target date for July 30 of this year.
“The newly redesigned website will be user-friendly and service-oriented, and it will do a better job of connecting our members to other people in their network,” said Mike Wilson, AAEA President.
Some features expected on the new site include an expanded freelance resource center, and a clean and vibrant system of display for the weekly Byline in Brief. The site will be home to quick-reference professional development articles, AAEA and industry news, job opportunities, contest information, and past webinar recordings. It will also include information about Special Interest Groups and social media.
“I urge all of our members to think about what it is our organization website needs for AAEA members to get the most value for their membership,” Wilson said. “This website should be one of the foremost member services, and your feedback will help us be successful in reaching that need.”
