Ag Media Summit is in St. Louis, July 19-21

The Gateway to the West is the door that opens this year on the wonders of agricultural communications.
Ag Media Summit 2026 lands at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch in St. Louis on July 19 and runs through July 21 — July 22 if you join the post-conference tour.
AMS, as it is affectionately known by many, began in 1999, and is the largest gathering of the agriculture communication writers, editors, photographers and all ag communicators in the U.S. The Agricultural Communicators Network and the Livestock Publications Council, with the support of the Ag Media Council, started collaborating in 1999 to deliver professional development unique to our industry. Today, it is the premier event for communicators from every corner of agriculture. AMS offers the fastest path to build a network, the most dependable way to maintain a network and an essential outlet for the ag folk to learn about all that impacts our professional efforts.
Look for the focus this year to again include artificial intelligence and how to use it; how sustainability impacts us and our audience; how public relations practitioners and journalists can get along; skills to advance your career; and how to make a living as a freelancer.
Overall, we’ll also have plenty of time for another AI — you know, Authentic Interaction. And we’ll enjoy AI (auxiliary input) from folks outside our agricultural circle. Ultimately, we’re going to lean into our creative superpower: aligning authenticity with intelligence, the most important AI.
Look for more details when registration opens on April 15.
Simply put, everybody who is Authentically Intelligent should be there. That includes you. Look forward to seeing you there.
