International Federation of Ag Journalists (IFAJ) Membership
The Ag Communicators Network is a full association member of the IFAJ, making all ACN members also members of IFAJ.
IFAJ, as an umbrella organization of guilds and associations of agricultural journalists and communicators, is committed to expanding and enhancing its activities as an open platform for agricultural journalists and communicators to support free, fair and independent agricultural journalism worldwide through networking and professional development.
Press Card
One of the benefits of IFAJ is the International Press Card. It is recognized by (agricultural) institutes, governments, ministries, exhibitions, fairs and events all over the world.
The IFAJ Press Card is available only to members of IFAJ-affiliated organizations/guilds.

ACN International Committee
This committee serves as a liaison between ACN and the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ), of which every ACN member is a member. The committee chair typically serves a 3-year term to provide continuity between ACN and IFAJ.

IFAJ Congress PIF Stipend
The ACN Professional Improvement Foundation offers yearly stipends to help cover expenses for ACN members to attend the IFAJ World Congress. Held annually in a different host country, the Congress brings together agricultural journalists from around the world for professional development, networking and agricultural tours.
Preference goes to first-time Congress attendees, but all dues-paying ACN members are encouraged to apply. Stipend recipients are asked to write a story about their experience for The Byline. Search the Byline archive for “IFAJ” to read about previous attendees’ experiences.
