Registration Open for Southeast Regional Workshop

An AAEA Agricultural Communicators Network Regional Workshop will be held Tuesday, November 14, at the Alabama Farmers Federation headquarters, 2108 E. South Blvd., Montgomery, AL  36116. The Regional Workshop will include speakers focused on agricultural journalism, marketing and timely industry issues. Topics include covering agricultural policy and sensitive topics, industry response to GMOs and tips on shooting and editing video. The workshop is sponsored by Alabama Wheat & Feed Grain Producers and Alabama Farmers Cooperative.

The workshop opens at 10 a.m., continues until 4 p.m., and includes lunch. A reception follows from 5 – 7 p.m. in historical downtown Montgomery. Registration is free and will close November 1. The first 50 registrants receive a free T-shirt.
