As we continue moving forward together, I’m excited to share a few important updates that reflect both the growth and momentum of the Ag Communicators Network.
First, we are proud to officially launch our new website and membership system. This upgrade has been a priority for some time, and it represents a significant step toward better serving our members. The new platform offers a more user-friendly experience, streamlined membership renewals, and improved access to resources, events, and networking opportunities. Whether you’re managing your membership, registering for events, or connecting with fellow communicators, this system was designed with your needs in mind.
I’m equally excited about the professional development I received from our recent regional workshop in Kentucky. Thanks to Alltech for hosting our group and to PIF for sponsoring the speakers. Attendees were able to gain more knowledge about agriculture in Kentucky along with editing tips with photography, the role of artificial intelligence in communications, navigating communication during various agricultural cycles and concluded with a panel focusing on tackling tough topics. All of the speakers were top-notch, and I left the meeting with some great tips. These workshops are a cornerstone of our mission to provide relevant, hands-on professional development.
What makes ACN truly special is the strength of its community. From seasoned professionals to those just beginning their careers, each of you plays a role in shaping the future of our industry. These new tools and in-person gatherings are designed to support that shared purpose—helping us all grow, adapt and lead in a rapidly evolving communications landscape.
I encourage you to explore the new website, ensure your membership is up to date and make plans to join us this summer at the Ag Media Summit. I look forward to seeing the connections and ideas that emerge in the months ahead.
