There are 303 members in the Ag Communicators Network, the Membership Committee reported at the October board meeting, held Oct. 27 in Madison, Wis.. Breakout among member types is: Associate, 75; Associate Freelance, 23; Editorial, 104; Editorial Freelance, 15; Partner, 29; Partner Freelance, 2; Retired, 12 and Student, 37. There are three honorary members: Lynn Henderson, Harlen Persinger and Fred Myers.
Alltech has generously agreed to sponsor the 2026 ACN student memberships, paying for 50 free student memberships. The committee continues to work hand in hand with the Future Ag Communicators committee on student webinars, the mentorship program, and the group chat.
Also, there are a host of membership benefits such as one free photo download from Real Ag Stock and 10% discount from Drury Hotels. Ongoing efforts to procure hotel discounts and product discounts continue.
