AAEA has a vast and diverse set of committees that include almost every aspect of the Ag Media Industry.

2021-22 Ag Communicators Network Committees:
The Ag Communicators Network Sponsorship committee is responsible for recruiting new sponsors for membership programs, thanking current sponsors, and finding new partner companies to sponsor. This committee meets approximately four times a year.
The Ag Media Summit Program committee works together with representatives from the Livestock Publications Council and Connectiv Agrimedia to help create innovative and relevant content for the Ag Media Summit. This includes recruiting speakers, coordinating logistics for education, and other details related to education. This committee meets approximately six times a year, by call or email.
The Ag Media Summit InfoExpo committee works with previous and potential exhibitors for InfoExpo at the Ag Media Summit. Committee members help recruit new companies and sell the value of the Summit to deepen relationships across Ag Media. This committee meets approximately four times a year.
The ByLine and Communications committee works with the Ag Communicators Network Communications Coordinator to cultivate content for the weekly ByLine in Brief newsletter and monthly podcast. This committee meets approximately three times a year.
Special Interest Group committees help determine educational content for the organization. This committee brainstorms on webinars, discussion forums, Facebook pages, and participates to provide value to that segment of the AAEA membership. Awards committees review the categories and criteria for the annual Ag Comm Network awards programs. They also may help recruit judges. Please sign up for a specific awards division.

Future Ag Communicators committee strengthens the Ag Communicators Network relationships with ag comm students across the country and their college ACT programs. This committee is responsible for the annual Ag Communicators Network Internship and Scholarship programs. This committee meets approximately two times a year.
The Partner Advisory committee reviews and engages with partner members of the association and helps provide relevant content and educational opportunities. This committee meets approximately three times a year.
The Legacy Committee reviews applications annually for Lifetime Achievement Award, Distinguished Service Award, and AAEA Fellows. These awards recognize outstanding service to agriculture and the ag media industry as a whole and meets approximately two times a year.
