Get IFAJ Photo Entries Ready

by Mary Kendall Dixon | Jan 11, 2018 | News, The ByLine

By Kurt Lawton, International Committee Chair

Star Prize photo contest deadline is February 23, 2018

The IFAJ Star Prize for Photography celebrates great images by agricultural journalists and communicators from around the globe. It’s a great way to have your agricultural images judged on a global stage, competing against IFAJ members across all country guilds.

Any AAEA member can enter one published photo in each of the three Star categories:

  1. People
  2. Production: this includes photos of machinery or technical aspects of farming, plant or animal production, bioenergy, etc.
  3. Nature/landscape

Photos must be published as editorial material (print or online) between January 1 and December 31, 2017. Entrant must attach a web link or PDF as proof of publication.

Two bonuses: no entry fee, and a cash prize for category and overall Star Prize winners – thanks to the generosity of sponsors John Deere and Rabobank.

More details here, as well as examples of past winners: http://ifaj.org/contests-and-awards/ifaj-star-prize-photography/
