Free IFAJ Dairy Webinar on April 12
By Elaine Shein, Chair, ACN International Committee, DTN/Progressive Farmer Associate Content Manager
If you cover the dairy industry or are interested in finding out more about global marketing trends including an in-depth analysis of consumer behaviors, you have an opportunity to take part in a webinar on April 12. The webinar starts at 09:30 GMT (4:30 a.m. CT). The webinar will be recorded; if you are interested in it but can’t make it that morning, you should still register so you can access it later.
The International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) is collaborating with the International Dairy Federation (IDF) to support the free participation of IFAJ member agricultural journalists in this global dairy sector event. The 90-minute webinar that day will introduce the third edition of the IDF Global Marketing Trends, based on surveys of marketers within the dairy sector across 22 countries that captured the drivers and barriers to milk and dairy food consumption during the COVID-19 pandemic period of 2019-2021. The research was conducted by France’s Centre National Interprofessionnel de l’Industrie Latière (CNIEL).
The report highlights the impact of trends that emerged and developed in the very specific context of the COVID-19 pandemic on the future of dairy. Some of these trends are expected to last, while others were exclusively related to the Covid crisis.
