ACN Member Receives Excellence in Journalism Award

Brad Haire, ACN member and Farm Press Senior Content Director, was recently awarded the Excellence in Journalism Award by the Weed Science Society of America (WSSA). WSSA and Northeastern Weed Science Society work together to honor its scientists and journalist members for their outstanding achievements.

Brad has worked at Farm Press since 2012 and has written agricultural articles for over 25 years. As the Senior Content Director, he manages content for four Farm Press publications, such as Southeast, Delta, Southwest, and Western Farm Press. Before his promotion, he was the editor of Southeast Farm Press.

Ben writes about herbicides and weeds at Farm Press, but also multifaceted topics like off-target movement, skin cancer, and endangered species. Recently, he has tackled the complexities of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in a series of articles.
