The time is NOW to enter your work in the IFAJ Star Prize contest. See how your skills stack up against the best ag journalists from around the world. Not only is the application process easier than submitting ACN award entries, but winners also receive €500!
Any journalist in good standing with their IFAJ member guild (i.e. if you have paid your 2026 ACN dues you are good!) can submit two entries total in the five IFAJ Star Prize categories. The submitted pieces need to have been published between January 1 and December 31, 2025, regardless of if they were entered in the ACN awards contest. ACN staff and the International Committee will enter two winning entries from our 2025 contest in the Supreme Guild Award category.
The contest is free to enter, and submissions are due via the IFAJ website by May 15, 2026. Winners will be announced at the 2026 IFAJ Congress in Croatia in September. See https://www.ifaj.org/contests-and-awards/ for more information and the submission link.
