The Future Ag Communicators Committee reports that in 2025, 50 college students signed up for student ACN membership from 23 universities across the U.S. and internationally. The 50 student memberships offered at no cost to students were sponsored by Alltech.
Eleven ACN student members signed up for the mentorship program and were connected to a mentor. Mentor-mentee pairs begin meeting this month and will meet monthly through July. The committee is working to bring mentored students to Ag Media Summit for in-person connections with their mentors. Thank you to the ACN members who stepped up to mentor!
The ACN Professional Improvement Foundation (PIF) has provided $7,000 for academic scholarships. Materials for scholarship applications will be ready soon.
