Here we are, episode 10! It’s hard to believe that over a year ago, I had this little idea that I approached AAEA with and now we are on episode 10. I’m so pumped to record new episodes in 2019. But more on that later.
In today’s episode, we have Steve Werblow as our guest and let me tell ya, Holly and I’s interview with Steve could have gone on for hours. His insight and knowledge is so valuable. Have you started listening yet? I would be okay if you stopped reading and started listening to the episode right now.
Steve started working abroad in Scotland when his family decided to fulfill a dream and move overseas for a short term. This move had many advantages for him as he gained a new perspective of the American agriculture industry and captured many different, interesting stories about culture and how it differs from our industry here in the U.S.
In the episode, Steve also shares very valuable information about working abroad. He discusses how working remotely can enhance your ability to do your job, but also how each country has different rules on working remotely. Top tip – do your homework and research if you are ever going to work abroad.
I don’t want to give away all the details of this episode, so tune in to hear from Steve and learn about working as an international freelancer. I’ve already played it back twice and I have learned something new every time.
As always, please leave us a review on iTunes or send a message on Facebook if you have any guest or topic recommendations for the podcast. We are currently planning for 2019 and we want your input! Feel free to email me at [email protected] with your suggestions as well.
Have a happy holiday season!
Kelsey
