The AAEA Professional Improvement Foundation is offering up to 10, $100 stipends to help offset first-time attendee registration costs to attend the Agricultural Media Summit.
The 20th annual Agricultural Media Summit (AMS) in Scottsdale, Arizona August 4-8 at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. AMS is the largest gathering of agriculture’s top writers, editors, photographers, publishers and communication specialists in the U.S. This industry-wide gathering of agricultural communicators offers one of the best opportunities for professional improvement and industry networking.
Stipends are available to AAEA members and non-members involved in the agricultural communications profession (writer, editor, photographer, designer, public relations, corporate communications, etc.).
Completed applications should be sent to Membership Committee chair Amy Roady at [email protected] by Monday, June 4. The committee will notify winners by Wednesday, June 13. Recipients must register for the conference by June 22 and arrange for registration reimbursement with AAEA staff.

Stipends are available to AAEA members and non-members. Stipends are available only to those who have never attended Ag Media Summit as a professional – please do not apply if you have attended in the past (those who attended as a student will be considered).
Stipend winners are also encouraged to write a brief story of their experience at AMS or covering a specific session for the AAEA Byline newsletter following the Summit.
