DESCRIPTION:2026 IFAJ Congress Registration is Open\n\n\n\nThe Croatian Agricultural Journalists’ Association (DANH\, abbreviation of Društvo agrarnih novinara Hrvatske) registration is open for the 2026 IFAJ Congress. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMain Congress in and around Osijek\, Slavonia and Baranja (9/16 – 9/20) – €1090 \n\n\n\nPre-Congress tour of Varaždin County (9/13 – 9/16) – €190\n\n\n\nPost-Congress tour of Istria County (9/20 – 9/22) – €315\n\n\n\nPost-Congress tour of Zadar County (9/20 – 9/22) – €315\n\n\n\n\nVisit the website for more details\, including early bird discounts. \n\n\n\nVisit the IFAJ Congress Croatia Site \n\n\n\nACN’s Professional Improvement Foundation has once again granted the international committee money for travel stipends. Watch future announcements for application details. \n\n\n\nThe Ag Communicators Network is a full association member of the International Federation of Ag Journalists (IFAJ)\, making all ACN members also members of IFAJ. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIFAJ Congress 2026 Croatia\n\n\n\nSeptember 16-20 2026 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nScheduled to take place in Osijek in September 2026\, the IFAJ Congress will bring together over 200 agricultural journalists from IFAJ’s 62 member countries. \n\n\n\nIt will be the first time Croatia has hosted the event since IFAJ was founded in 1956. The programme will include excursion trips to Istria and Dalmatia\, tailored to participants’ interests. The Congress is being organized by the Croatian guild DANH and IFAJ\, with HAPIH (the Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food) supporting the event as an official partner. \n\n\n\nRegister for IFAJ\n\n\n\nACN Delegation to Kenya 2025\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe ACN Professional Improvement Foundation awarded eight $1\,500 stipends to help cover expenses for ACN members to attend the IFAJ 2025 Congress in Kenya. \n\n\n\nThirteen individuals applied for PIF funding to help cover expenses to attend the IFAJ Congress. Eight $1\,500 travel stipends were awarded: Andy Castillo-Farm Progress\, Bill Spiegel-Freelance\, Jake Zajkowski-Freelance\, Jordan Reynolds-Successful Farming\, Megan Silveira-Angus Journal\, Wyatt Bechtel-Broadhead\, Chelsea Dinterman-Successful Farming (as Young Leader nominee)\, and Katie Knapp-Freelance (as committee chair). \n\n\n\nEach awardee publishes an article in The Byline about their experience.
