Annual business meetings for AAEA- The Ag Communicators Network provide members with an overall look at the business and goals of the association. This meeting will be held in conjunction with the 2018 Ag Media Summit at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, AZ.
Proposed Membership Categories
For the past year, a special AAEA- The Agricultural Communicators Network Membership taskforce has been hard at work to add clarity to and redefine our current membership categories. With the goals of A) appealing to new members, B) creating more leadership opportunities for more members and C) avoiding ambiguity in the category descriptions, the taskforce and your AAEA Board of Directors are proposing a modified member category listing to you, the membership.
According to the AAEA constitution, this revised structure is scheduled to be brought before the membership at this year’s annual business meeting for a vote since it requires some constitutional changes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This vote will take place in person at the annual AAEA- The Ag Communicators Network business meeting at the 2018 Ag Media Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona on Tuesday 7. A conference call line will be open for comments from those who cannot attend in person, but votes will not be accepted via conference call. According to the existing AAEA constitution, AAEA members must physically attend the meeting to vote on these changes.
